Mia, Draco, and the excited Alhena wasted no time that morning getting to Vane. After a bit of explanation to the guards, Lemia, and Nash, a spot of breakfast, and some playful exploring by the wolf pup ("What a sweet little dear!" Lemia had exclaimed), the three of them set out to Black Rose Street.
Draco's shop was in need of some cleaning up. And perhaps a name.
Not to mention Ramus would be interested in the amount Draco owes him.
But that will come when they actually reach Meribia. For now, they are walking down the main street of Vane, headed for the stairs. Alhena occasionally chases after some of the birds that flutter too close by.

She stops in front of the shop, Kyle walking a little further until she calls him back.
"It might be a bit dustier than it was the last time we were here."
She pulls out a bandana from her sleeve pocket and covers her hair.
Kyle mounts his sword on his back, rubs his hands together, and says, "Well then, let's get to work."

He then pointed it to the floor nearby, and went "Scourgify!" Blasting away the dust.

Mia elbows the brigand a little and walks to the back room, divided by an arch. One side serves as a sort of kitchen, the other a bedroom.
"This room isn't much better, but at least it's all that's left."
Meanwhile, Kyle makes his way over to a bookcase.
"Want any of these fortune telling books?"

He followed them to the back rooms, "Yes, leave them for now. I'll deal with them later."

He picks up the crystal ball sitting on it and hands it to Mia, who went out to join him.
"Figure you'll want something of a different display for your shop."
The table is pretty heavy, one that would normally take two or three people to lift, but Kyle picks it up by himself and holds it comfortably.

Mia puts her arms on one of the nice chairs in the room and adds, "And maybe these chairs should go in the back, too."
A brief moment of looking around before she says, "And some shelves would be a good idea, though you won't need so many if the bookcase gets cleared out. And a counter. We might need to do some work on that."
"At least you guys will keep me busy during all of this planning?" Kyle says with a grin. "I'm handy at building. Did a lot of work in Nanza and it hasn't fallen yet."

He added to Mia, "I'll have to research the potions here like that Angel's tears, and the others you mentioned, in case people want to buy those here as well."

Kyle straightens out the table in the back and works to move the chairs now.
"I think there's enough room for us to work on signs inside," she says with a smile. "Just a matter of finding some wood for it. We could even put in the shelves and the counter today if we can get enough."
"Maybe Ramus has some in stock," Kyle suggests from behind the second out of the three chairs.

He stared at her, "I could just create some with some wood. It would be tricky for the right spell."

But when the talk turns to the signs and shelves, she says, "There's nothing wrong with a little woodwork."
Kyle returns from moving the chairs and says, "Yeah, and besides, you do that and you'll put me out of a distraction. C'mon, help keep a fella from having to look at wedding table doilies."

Alhena in the meantime, had curled up in one of the chairs to nap. Not play or food now, so must sleep.

And he leaves them in the shop, gone only for about fifteen minutes.
In the meantime, Mia was still blushing, but now it's because of what Kyle said. Her only protest to what he says, made too late, is a murmur of, "Well, I like things simple anyway."

She smiles a little at just how silly that sounds.

After a pause, he added, "Now tablecloths with a monogram on the corner... that might be all right."

"You mean it's that important to you for people to know that the tablecloth belongs to us?"

She goes and leans on him.
"What I have out there doesn't matter to me. It's what I have right here that does."

"Well, nothing wrong with flaunting what you have at least a little," he demurred.

She puts her hands on his arms.
"And we're doing it again."

"Everything's just been so sudden with us."
A small, somewhat nervous laugh.
"But I think I kind of like it that way," she quietly adds.
