Mia is laying on her stomach, propped up on a few pillows on the bed, wearing nothing but a bra, panties, and a pair of high heels. All green, enough to entice any Slytherin. She even has a green rose clip holding her hair back

Sitting on the bedside table are the classics: a bowl of fruit, some whipped cream, and of course the potion. The only oddity is the small plate of cookies.

In one hand is a glass of limeade.

On the bed in front of her is the latest issue of Hot Girl News.

MIA AUSA WITH A NEW LOVE?- Loyal readers have sent in pictures showing Mia Ausa walking the streets of Meribia and Vane with a relatively unknown wizard. The two were seen leaving Mia's bedroom via her second story window, spotted again speaking to Master Mel de Alkirk (governor of Meribia and father of Hot Girl News notable Jessica de Alkirk), were noticed at Ramus's Shop, and could be seen wandering Black Rose Street.

But who is this mysterious man who might have stolen the heart of Vane's fair Mia? We at Hot Girl News have spared no expense in finding out. After speaking to some of our readers who work in Mel's stately manor, we have found out that the new wizard's name is Draco Malfoy. Ramus, a frequent distributor of our periodical, confirmed this when we went to him for verification and said he had some dealings with Draco on Black Rose Street. He said this business was classified, however he clarified that Draco was not a subscriber to Hot Girl News.

"Draco Malfoy is a customer of mine and entitled to the same privacy," said Ramus. "What he is buying is none of your business, but I can assure you it is not any issues of Hot Girl News or any bromides for that matter. If he was willing to walk by three of my finest hostesses during his visit to my shop, it's clear that he's only interested in Mia."

Draco sounds like a man worthy of the Mia Ausa fan club for such actions, as last month's article on Ramus's bodacious bunny babes shows exactly what he passed up, but at the same time it is hard to turn away from the irresistible Mia. Unofficial president of the club, presumed sweetheart of the Guildmaster, and member of the Five Heroes Nash Rumack has been heard speaking on the subject of Draco Malfoy.

"Mia said that she was torn between the two of us, but I'm not hopeful," Nash has been heard to say. "I knew that this was a possibility when I realized I loved someone as wonderful as Mia, when I saw how many others loved her. It's not like all of us can have her. My devotion to her will not waver. All I've ever wanted was for her to be safe, to be happy, even if that means she won't be with me."

Truly noble words from one of our own, a man who knows the hardships that come with being in love with someone as well-known, someone as wonderful, and, as our pictures display, someone as beautiful as Mia Ausa.

Along with the article are several pictures, mostly of Mia, but a few with her and Draco together.

In fact, the entire issue this month is about Mia, with plenty of lovely pictures from previous issues.

It is a very enticing image.

Unfortunately, that's essentially all it is for Draco right now, as Mia has put a magic shield around herself. The closest he can get to her is about a foot away from the bed. All he has access to is the food.

And it's going to stay that way until Mia decides otherwise.

"Hello, Draco," she says casually, not looking up from her magazine.

Draco tried the door, and found it unlocked. He walked in and closed the door.

Some more steps in, and he noticed the bed. And who was on display on top of it.

The note and a flower fell down as his fingers released them in surprise.

Draco would speak, but he's currently doing a most stunning impression of a fish gaping for air along a shoreline.

She languidly kicks one of her feet back and forth, showing off the heel, and takes a sip of limeade.

Still nonchalant.

"Did you know you made it into Hot Girl News? I'm a little surprised they published any pictures of you at all."

She turns the page.

Draco had no idea what the hell she was talking about.

And his brain was still sending signals to do that cracking good impression of a dying fish to his face muscles at the moment.



He finally sputtered out, "

M-Mia?!?"

She finally looks up from her magazine, her face relaxed.

"Yes, darling?"

He tried to talk a few more times, and it obvious a struggle for the normally talkative wizard.

"You... how... what... I... uh..."

Nope, still no good. Not enough blood to his brain right now likely.

"Nouns and verbs might help, darling. Or did you forget sentence structure as well?"

She turns the page, pops a grape from the bowl in her mouth, and takes another sip.

Oh that's so unfair.

He tried again after wrenching shreds of willpower together with some success, "Mia, what's going on? I mean, you look absolutely stunning but er, what's the occasion?"

"Nothing much. I got my memory back. And the latest issue of Hot Girl News from home. It has an article on a date that we had in Meribia."

She puts the magazine on the table, open to the article, and stirs her limeade with her straw.

She curls her legs and then lets them fall to the bed.

Draco blinked, and he approached the table. Skimming the article.

"What's Hot Girl News? And where's Meriba?"

He then approached the bed, and then blinked as he felt buffeted back by something.

"What? What's going on, Mia? Answer me."

"Meribia, darling," she gently corrects. "And Hot Girl News is a magazine from home. My world, not yours."

She puts the glass on the table and turns over to lay on her back, propped up on her elbows.

"What do you mean, what's going on?"

She can pull off innocent better than Draco can.

Yes she can, and that sitting position gave him such a lovely view. Was that a faint whimper from him?

"Do you normally wear such outfits? And why can't I get any closer?"

"Well, with my memories back, I know how to use my magic again. So I've put up a shield. You can't get any closer to me until I want you to."

She shrugs.

"Actually, no, not when I'm in bed. I typically sleep in the nude."

A bit forward?

Perhaps, but considering what the two of them have done, she sees no reason to be ashamed about her body around Draco.

And.... we're back to dying fish impressions again.

Brilliant conversationalist tonight, isn't he?

It was more than she was admitting to such things, since she always seemed rather... sweet, innocent. If not virginal anymore obviously.

But then, there doesn't have to be anything dirty about sleeping in the nude. That's just Draco putting his own ideas on the situation.

She holds out a hand and idly admires her nails.

Did...?

Did she paint them green.....?

"Of course, I imagine you would know a bit more about my sleep habits if you had your memories back."

She smiles at him, a glimmer in her eyes.

"It's too bad you can't remember our first time together. It really was lovely."

Draco scowled. Oh she was clever. Knew just how to tempt him.

"...So that's what this is about? I don't want my memories back. I'll just start over, and relearn my spells if I have to."

She shrugs again.

"All right, if that's how you want to live."

But the shield doesn't go down and she reaches for her magazine again.

He stepped forward, and was rebuffed back again.

"Why do you want me to have them back? I'm better without them."

"No, darling. Forgetting what you were does not make you better. It leaves something missing in your life, and I'm a part of what's missing."

She looks at the magazine.

"I wonder how Nash is doing. He hasn't had the luxury of losing his memories, so he might have been missing me. I wonder if things would work out between him and me again..."

Draco turned ashen at that, and his heart plunged into his gut.

"...Nash? Who's he?"

"Oh yes, you wouldn't remember him either. He's the man I was in love with before I met you. Even you told me that Nash loved me back. According to this article," she gestures to the magazine, "he still does."

She picks up her glass again and takes a casual sip.

"But, but I love you!" Draco exclaimed, "You're not seriously considering him, are you?"

"Well, I was in love with him for two years. That's considerably longer than we've known each other. And even though Nash did horrible things, he won't run away from his past. He's willing to accept the bad memories with the good."

That smirk is almost evil.

"And if I remember right, when we first met, I did say he was more handsome than you."

"...You wouldn't. I'm not running away! I'm letting go. It's not a part of me anymore. I don't need it. Please stay with me."

"Stay with you? When you can't remember why we're together in the first place? When you don't even want to if it means remembering everything else?"

Another sip.

Another page turn.

"I don't think so."
