Considering how busy being a new mother has made her, she's still managed to find the time to arrange a guest room and a door from Milliways for Scorpius. Some of it had been the maids' doing, but Mia had done a lot to help.
She waits in the nursery, Cepheus fortunately settling down after his latest change and feeding. Once Scorpius arrives, the guard just outside of her quarters will greet him and notify her.

"Of course, you can always talk to me. And whenever you like," he commented back in a soft voice.
In a louder tone, "I suppose I'm not Cepheus's favorite this week." A small sigh at that.

Mia gives Nash a playful "punch" on the shoulder when she has Cepheus on her shoulder once again.
"Oh don't be ridiculous, Beloved," she says when her attention is turned to Draco again. "Everyone knows boys idolize their fathers. Before long he'll be begging you to teach him how to fly on his toy broom. Why, Scorpius has already said Cepheus is behind on his Quidditch practice."

And the other thing too, Scorpius supposes, but he's not about blurt that.
"He should be in training right now. Maybe that's why he was fussing, he already knows the importance of missing practice."

"Hope he doesn't fly like Jessica," Nash remarks.
"Don't even joke about that!" she starts, the sudden jolt causing a bit of renewed fussing from Cepheus.
"Oh, I'm sorry, darling," Mia softly coos to him, hopefully lulling him back to calmness.

Badly, he's assuming.

"She was the one barking orders on Mia's behalf while Mia was busy breaking Draco's hand," Nash quips.
Mia looks at him for a moment before she says, "He means she helped with the birth."
Nash continues with, "And she was the one steering our first airship when it crashed. That was a long fall."

Which this is probably not easing Mia's fears of young Cepheus falling from a broom that he thinks to add, "But, toy brooms are completely safe. You can't even go very high on them at all. And our magic would safe us very any serious injuries anyway."
He pauses, thinking about all the accidents in Quidditch with a grimace.
"Mostly."

Draco added, "We'll monitor when he can fly of course. I remember Mum following me around incessantly until my father reassured her I was fine."

"Oh, come on," Nash says. "Like anyone would let anything happen to Cepheus. Worst he's ever gonna suffer growing up is scraped knees with how calm everything is."
Mia just takes a moment to look at her baby, already the worried Mother Hen.

Scorpius all but cheers, throwing his arms in the air as if to celebrate a goal in Quidditch. He then steps lightly over to Mia to slide an arm around her shoulders in a congratulatory squeeze. And to tickle at the baby's foot.
"I'd offer Firewhiskey, little br- cousin, to commemorate this, but I haven't got any on me."

"A drink later perhaps," Draco remarked, and added to Mia, "Of course I'll be careful. Don't fret so, darling."

"You're all the same, charming me to get your way," Mia says.
"They had to get into Vane on something besides talent alone to make it this far," Nash quips. "The city is ruthless."
Right about here, the guard who greeted Scorpius earlier comes rushing up, looking quite out of breath and apologetic.
"I'm very sorry- Master Scorpius- " he huffs, "-for the way I received you. Majesty Lemia- has informed me- that you are of the family."
He takes a deep breath and bows his head.
"I should have known only a member of the Malfoy-Ausa family would speak of Majesty Mia in such familiar terms. Please forgive me, Master Scorpius."
Nash quietly excuses himself, biting his lip to contain his laughter, while Mia blinks and glances at Scorpius.
"Did this guard offend you, Scorpius?"

Only the guard starts apologizing and -
"Er, no? He's actually the one whose feet I almost stepped on. Sorry about that, by the way," he adds to the guard.

"Then it sounds to me like you're worrying over nothing," Mia tells him. "Now please, feel free to resume your duties without fear of retribution."
"Yes, Majesty Mia. Thank you, Majesty Mia, Master Draco, Master Scorpius."
And the guard takes his leave.
"Well, guess you better get used to the Ausa lifestyle as well, Scorpius. Seems Mother's words really stuck. Maybe we should fit you with some Magic Guild robes and everything."
Okay, she's teasing now...

"I don't know if I could handle it. More months out of the year, and I'm more used to being told to watch where I'm walking than being apologized at for my nearly stepping on someone's feet."
