Mia is past her due date.

It's getting to the point where she can hardly stand the waiting. Draco being home for his paternity leave has helped, but he's also quite anxious. He did, however, have a brilliant idea to relax tonight: a lovely dinner much like Valentine's.

And Mia could use the relaxing. She's been feeling off all day...

"He'll grow into it. Cepheus will be enough for him for now," Draco remarked.

Narcissa briefly touched his shoulder with a fond smile before stepping back out to tell Lucius that he was now a grandfather.

Draco blinked, and glanced between them worriedly for a moment. He didn't want to drop him or anything.

"I.. can?" Another glance at his wife.

He sat down carefully on the side of the bed so Mia would still be comfortable. He then held his hands, and would make sure to very carefully cradle the baby's head and body for support.

Draco just kept staring down at his son with wonder and surprise. He was really here. A son, and he was perfect. He was compelled to promise that he would do right by him, that his son would never feel ashamed of his father, and he'd never be asked to do a terrible deed in his father's stead.
