Mia was in the kitchen, working on dinner for her and Draco. She was alone for a time, but it wasn't long before Draco came to join her. They quietly talked, the husband wondering why the wife was making a special dinner for them. She told him, as a matter of fact, that they have been married for six months and she wanted to celebrate that to make October happier.
Draco leaned closer to her, whispering his own ideas of how to celebrate before nibbling on her neck.
Mia replied with a quiet gasp and then a protest of being busy cooking dinner.
But his kisses soon convinced her that dinner can wait. She starts kissing back, slowly at first and then with more passion. They embraced, hands sliding up and down spines and fingers getting tangled in hair. Knees getting weaker and both of them slowly moving down to the floor. Draco sits with Mia in his lap, her legs around his waist. She tilts her head back, letting him kiss her neck.
Mia's eyes open wide and she gasps, a hand covering her mouth. Draco snickers and presses another kiss to her skin, wanting to hear more.
It was then that Nash cleared his throat.

"Rather busy, Nash. If it's not the end of the world, bugger off."

Mia is still covering her mouth with her hand, her other hand smoothing out part of her dress to cover her legs more.
There isn't really any good way to stand up right now.

At least Mia can stand up somewhat, he really couldn't at the moment. Pity his robes were upstairs, and he just had his trousers on right now.

She carefully tries to stand up, pulling her skirt farther down as she does.
"You're a much different person now, Mia," Nash says to her after a while, a little awed about it himself.

Mia goes to check on the dinner.
"Do you two do this often and I just haven't noticed?" Nash asks.
"No! I mean, we don't do this in the kitchen," Mia replies, flustered. "I mean-!"

"....Merlin's beard."
Whoops, not so silent.

She's blaming him since he's the one who started all of it.

Draco would certainly think so.
He nodded, "Of course not." Part of him was wishing his parents could have given *him* an invisibility cloak since it would have been dead useful right about now.

He glances over at what Mia's cooking.
"Smells good. Is that for everyone?"

"Hallo-what?" Nash asks.
"Blue Star holiday."
"Oh. Does it have more of those sardine candies?"
"Yes."
"Rats."

"It's going to be a fun holiday this year."
She's going to do everything she can to make sure of it.
Nash, however, is clueless on the significance of Halloween and just looks at both of them.

"It's supposed to be a scary holiday and it did a good job of scaring me last year," Mia explains kindly.
"When you had the flu?"
She nods.
See Draco? Was that so hard?

Nash stands and takes a drink from his mug of coffee.
When Mia does speak, she says, "Nash, go away."
A short laugh from the thunder mage and he replies, "That doesn't change the fact that the kitchen is not your bedroom."
"I have to be close by to check on the food."
"Which is burning."
And Mia looks down at her cooking to realize it is a lovely shade of charcoal.
