Taken from Leesha over at [livejournal.com profile] mend_and_defend, applicable to any and all games I'm in.

Name a character that you know I write or have written, and I'll tell you:

a. What initially prompted me to like the character enough to write about him/her.
b. One of his/her best traits.
c. One of his/her worst traits.
d. How easy/difficult I find it to write the character.
e. The story/thread/chapter/post/paragraph/tag/phrase where I feel that I truly captured the character.
f. My plans (if any) to write the character in the near future.

a. Talking with college friends got me deeper into it since we would do imitations at each other. A few of my guy friends did the most charming Homestar impersonations. This was also around Sbemail 150, which gave me a great opportunity to get Homestar into Milliways and, what really got me, the Twin Peaks reference with the backwards talking. When I saw that, I was sold.

b.One of his best traits is that he likes everybody. It doesn't matter who you are or what you've done to him. He'll still think you're one of the greatest people ever.

c. One of his worst traits is his mind in general. His intelligence is pretty much nonexistent except for the random bursts of insight, which ultimately are useless.

d. Homestar is surprisingly difficult at times since it requires a lot of random thought, jumping from one thing to another with little to no connection. It's easier at times when an especially good toon comes out. Random spelling errors and homophones are a big help, too. So if something is spelled wrong for Homestar, it's meant to be there. =D

e. This thread here (http://community.livejournal.com/milliways_bar/14554831.html). The misunderstanding lasted all the way to Christmas. If that's not a prime example of Homestar, I don't know what is.

f. I've kept my eyes glued on the site (www.homestarrunner.com) for anything particularly spectacular for Homestar, as he's the only pup I've got with ongoing canon. I've got my hopes up for Sbemail 200. Homestar also tends to shine out during crack plots or when I spot an entrance post that demands his brand of strange.
